I got my nails done today new set pt on so that was a nice relaxing way to spend the morning .On the way in I listened to myiPod as you do.I have been singing along quite merrily to Juxtaposed by the superfurry animals for any a year now it;s a song I lke, with the headphones on today I suddenly discovered that they don't sing "It's easy when you know how toget along with that big fat cow" it;s actually "it's easy when you know how,to get along without biff bang pow " do I feel silly Actually no I like my lyrics better:)
Weare due snow later today and it;s pancake day ,in other countries aroud the world people are eating special lovely donuts and super duper food ,here we have pancakes ( crepes to you over the sea) I hate making them everyone fights about who gets the first one I can;t toss them properly I think only men can toss pancakes because they are more complete tossers.
For many years I have been a memeber of a Yahoo online group appreciating a really long forgotten and not particularly brillians tv series in 20 odd parts called Flambards.Recently the group have been joined by an american lady who likes to write fan fiction and an alternatve ending .Someone else had a go at writing and was lambasted for soft porn ( she wrote about a bulge in williams trousers ) I was bored last night and the kids were in bed and john was at work so I thought I's start a fight with someone new so I said I thought the "nice version was really pathetic and contained far too many americanisms to sit well with the real books on which the story is told ( It's teen fiction) This morning I have mostly been taking the knives from my back :)

I like your lyrics better too....and loved Flambards.

When I was little I used to sing "Down in Devon they Jive" to "Down in Devil Gate Drive". In fact I think I was 18 when I found out I had got it wrong.

I'd rather have crepes than donuts any day.
