Well the modem is back in ful health and therefore so am I.I have been playing a lot of JT blocks on Yahoo games but I don't have the patience for it really.yesterday I did my first shift at the theatre box office on thursday morning and it all went ok I managed not to scrw the computer system up althouht it;s so slow one wonders if it's powered by an ancient hamster with slippers a pipe and a zimmer frame.I was apologising to a man on the phone about it he suggested we upgrade t a gerbil since they run faster.I have trouble clicking since its become second nature to me t have a double click mouse for the most part all this single click right click double click is tres confusing.I got called into jacks school today I had no idea why I walked in to be confronted by the head and the year head who said there was a rumour jack was taking a knife into to school ,they then called him in a searched him and his bag foudn nothing ,we got no apology no nothing the whole thing was don e in a very confrontational manner and they acted the entire time as if he was guilty and seemed most disappointed when he wasn't.I used to back the school and assume jack must have done something but after seeing them i action today I have no faith in them whatsoever if he wasn;t in the middle of his exam years now I would pull him out .I can't see him finishing school anymoreIt's most depressing

Schools are awful now , when I was a lad in the Amityville school system I used to make zip guns to sell to the blacks from north Amityville . I never went to school without a knife usually a switch blade. The pride of my youth was the weapons display at the Amityville Police Headquarters that had 3 of my best zip guns in it that had been confiscated from blacks in local holdups . All that said look how great I turned out . A boy needs his knife Mum , schools are turning out wimps nowadays just because of dumb stuff like columbine . Sure there are nuts in the world , more reason why your boy needs his knife or gun for protection . Think how much better things would of been if those Columbine sickos had been knifed before they shot the joint up. Allan
It's amazing what poor leadership in a school can do to a kid. I remember the way Braden's incident was handled last year, and my heart goes out to you, mum.
But he didn;t have a fucking knife they treated a school plaground rumour as if it was the gospel truth and then tried to pin something else on him when they didn;t find what the expected.The first I knew abut any of it was when I walked into the heads office at 1pm there was a mesage on my answer phone last night from his head of year asking me to come in and discuss his progres and a couple of other incidents which hardly rings alarm bells .the whole thing has pissed me off entirely I will never back the school again now I have seen them in action. Seems any kid can make an allegation against jack and its treated as gospel .They were going to exclude him at one point because he made a girl cry in class by calling her a snobby cow,yet by their own admission some kid has been calling him a red haired twat for weeks and when he lost his rag and pushed the kid they want to uspend him the wind up merchant gets nothing it;s just totally one sided
How old is Jack now? Is there a possibility of moving him to another school?
Ooooh yes, good idea Gail. Although I would imagine the Weasleys have already thought of that. Is there a chance? Perhaps a good military school. I am looking for one for my child. Poor Jack. Poor Mrs Weasley.
Did you confront them?? Point all of these things out to them?? I would have made them apologize AND complained to their superiors.

I guess it's not like here where you can threaten to sue the hell outta them if they don't leave Jack alone?
