Took Basil up the racecourse yesterdya and had a fab time ,we met a lady with a GSD who had had three stroke but refused to let it affect her ,two miniature schnauzers and a giant schnauzer puppy who was 14 months old and adorable.Basil romped and ran and ran and romped for ages while we chatted about all things doggie, the minis have learned to squeal like big girls blouse when the big dogs come near I think Basil truly believed just walkign within two feet of a mini shcnauzer causes them immense pain and is scarred for life. Then we met Max a black lab and they romped for a while ,then it began to snow and we came home,I tok him up the Racecourse again today but we didn;t meet anyone ,But it was a glorious day cold with blue skies and I could see the steelworks far over in Middlesbrough which is about 40 miles away and the communications mast on top of the cleveland hills ( yes I had my glasses on ) which is about 40 miles in the opposite direction ,and the birds were singing and lambs were baaaing and for about an hour it was a perfect world

I have pondered and thought, and still don't know what a gsd is.
german shepherd dog
i would have never have guessed that.
It snowed?
I kept thinking gurt sausage dog. And then I thought it was the woman who had had the stroke. Not a gurt sausage dog.
you people are dog philistines
I don't like german shepherds. Something ominous about them. They seem very cold.
A cat owner calling a dog cold?
I had a GSD/collie mix when I was growing up and he was wonderful. (very warm).
