We took Basil to the groomers today,I asked for a lam clip about 3 inches long I could tell shaun wasn;t keenon the idea as he shows his poodles ,when we got Basil back he looked like the gayest dog in the village, On the bright side he can see now,on the down side he looks like elton john at his 50th birthday ,if you don't believe me google him.ON the bright side for another £30 I can have him dyed the colour of my choice I am thinking lilac

the dog looks awful but he probably feels much better with all that hair off him . I've had old old dogs groomed and clipped and it seems to put some life back in them somehow . allan

Everytime I see that picture I feel so bad for poor Basil.
Actually Basil seems happier for not being so furry,he has lots more energy the rain rols off him rather than saturating him and he can swim withoput being waterlogged,so don't feel bad for Bas feel bad for me having to take him out looking like that

I like the cut except for the ears,, the ear poofs have to go. He does not look gay- he looks like what he is- a young, growing, gangly pup. You know I was watching him run up on the raccourse today and he looked fantastic and he's just such a nce dog to have around theres no side to him he's just a really nice lovable dog.Ps his ears have relaxed a bit now :)
I think he looks so cute, not gay at all, I like his hair shorter like this than the fluffy thing going on.
