Does anyone else ever get addicted to a song they have heard for no apparent reason, Sometimes I hear a song on the radio and I just have to have have it then I play it til I can't stand to hear it ever again,At the moment it;s free Loopp by Daneil Powter ,but I have no idea why ,I am not a fan of his I don;t even like most of his other songs but last week I awoke with Free loop goin g through my brain and I have been playing it ever since. Before that it was martell by the cribbs and to my eternal shame the one before that was barry Mannilow singing read em and weep. The songs are never ones that I would normally pick and they always make me feel happy and sad at the same tim e even if they are not emotional songs.anyway must go and play free loop again it;s a good three minutes since I last heard it

Yes. I do that all the time. Sometimes it's whole albums, sometimes it's songs, sometimes it's movies. I probably listened to "August and Everything After" for about 3 months straight. I even brought it with me to other people's houses and made them play it while I was there.
Speaking of music, H and I were driving around yesterday in this old beat up truck that he has (and loves and won't part with) that doesn't have a radio and we kept having the same songs in our heads. I'd be singing a song in my head and all of a sudden he would start singing it out loud. Happened like 5 times. It was freaky.
i listened to josh grobans cd over and over again one saturday and when i went to bed the songs were in my head and when i woke up they were still there. the cd must have been playing over and over in my brain all night long.
Now that is an uncomfortable image...Urbs and H in a beat-up pick up truck both singing "We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun..."
I was addicted to Alanis Morrisettes Jagged Little Pill (whole album, not track) when I was getting divorced. It's the best PMT album in the world.
Kath -- And singing it a cappella!
