My parents are here ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGG they have been bickering all evening at one point they were arguing about stacking the dishwasher which is fine , except I don't have a dishwasher.My kids are all trying to work out how much they can screw out of them while they here . I am winning at the moment since my dad said he would pay for me to do an intensive driving course in Blackpool residential for a week:) I have been entertaining myself quite nicely . I realised on Monday that for the first time in about 6 or 7 years I am really quite happy with life which is nice .I am sleeping on the sofa in the sitting room for the next week so if you see me online at funny hours its because it is tantalisingly close and not because I am up to anything suspicious honest Guv

It's good you 're happy Alex but please don't start driving at this point in your life . Anyone who needs an intensive driving course shouldn't ever get behind the wheel of something as dangerous as an automobile . For the sake of the British Isles please stick to bus travel . allan
Nonsense. She only needs an intensive course so she can get it over and done with. She doesn't have a car to practise with in between regular lessons. Nor does she have anyone to take her out between lessons.

I think if you have parents that are lovely enough to pay...then you should take them up on the offer. You are a lucky girl...grap the oppurtunity with both hands and best of British Luck!

Go for it girly. It took my mother about 15 years to get her license but she finally did! Mostly cuz she gave up about 8 years in and went ahead and bought a car and just started driving. Took her another 7 to pass but, I think the 7 years of practice helped.
Personally, I hope Meme's parents leave soon so she can update her blog
