Very quick visit to the hospital today for x rays,I was in and out before my actuall appointment time. I have to stay off my foot for another 3 weeks then go back for another x ray.Hopefully by then I will be allowed to put some weight on it.The snow held off until I got back so my sleepless night worrying about getting down the drive to the car was unnecessary. I didn't see my plaster technician which was very disappointing.I have now had 14 x rays of my ankle and I fear it is probably infertile now and will never have baby ankles. They did a show girl dance routine on CBB tonight it was really quite good ,I have a soft spot for Ian from steps.Tomorrow we will find out who is up for nomination and I shall let my sister know.Basil has taken to sleeping in my bedroom but I wont let him on the bed so he waits til he thinks I am asleep and then tries to creep up,it wont work though I don;t like dogs on beds.He is missing Jane I think ,I called him Mr Basil today and he ran off to look for her

Did Jane call him "Baysil" the Americn version, or Basil, the English version? Perhaps he has ancestors in Texas or something, and was responding to his roots.

I reckon Basil senses that something is wrong and is trying to snuggle up to you for a bit of mutual comfort. But I agree... no dogs on beds!
Jesus Alex , give that dog a chance to sleep in your bed with you . Can he be any worse then your husband ? Of course you don't let him under the covers .
I've been sleeping with dogs my whole life . Often canine dogs but sometimes human dogs and I can tell you from experience except for a small period of time when the human dogs are new to your bed , the canine dogs are by far superior to sleep with . Allan

My cousin just broke her ankle and I've been having a fun time suggesting we all go out roller skating, or bowling, or asking her to run upstairs to get a disk that I really need. You know you are loved when someone fucks with you while you're at your lowest. I hope your friends are fucking with you.
